Joe Hart posts emotional farewell message to Torino fans on social media

The England goalkeeper confirmed he won't be staying at the club beyond his season-long loan

It looks like Joe Hart's bizarre stint in Italy is coming to an end.

The Man City goalkeeper has confirmed he will be leaving Torino at the end of the season, and bid an emotional farewell to the club's supporters.

The England No 1 took to Instagram on Monday to personally thank the Torino fans in an emotional message.

He wrote: "Thank you Torino.

"I am so proud to have played for your special football club. The way you have treated me and my family is something that we will never forget.

"I will forever support Torino for the rest of my days. I have met so many special people and this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

"I will come back to see you all one day so it is bye for now, enjoy an amazing summer."

Beautiful stuff.

Hart enjoyed a good relationship with the Torino faithful during his time at the club, who seemingly took to the England star despite his inconsistent form.

However, Hart has confirmed he'll be seeking a permanent move away in the summer.

Speaking to Italian media about his time at Torino, Hart said: "I really enjoyed it. I'm not going to come back, but I had a good time."

So no doubt the summer ahead will be rife with Hart-related speculation, with the shot-stopper surplus to requirements at the Etihad under Pep Guardiola.

We can hardly wait for that.
