IDOL: Faye Johnson has revealed her brother's 'number one fan'

The disgraced ex-Sunderland star is currently serving six years behind bars for sexual activity with a besotted 15-year-old fan.

But his loyal sister, Faye johnson, has backed the former England winger despite being found guilty of groping the girl in his Range Rover.

In an emotional post on her Instagram account, Faye shared a picture of her brother cradling her baby son Lucas.

The tender snap shows Lucas wearing a Manchester City shirt while Johnson holds a medal attached to an FA lanyard.

In the post, she wrote: “Throwback 6 year ago..... Baby Lucas, AJ's no1 fan from the start @a.johnson11 @lucas11johno #mancity”

Commenting on the picture, one pal wrote: “Lush pic, keep going aj not long now your family's (sic) did you proud.”

The ex-Man City player was caged last April and now calls Moorland Prison, near Doncaster, his home.

Last month Johnson, 29, had an appeal to overturn his conviction for sexual activity with the teenage girl quashed.

His application to reduce his six-year jail term for sexually assaulting the schoolgirl was turned down.

Johnson is reported to have racked up a £1million bill fighting to clear his name.

His sister Faye appeared to be fuming with the decision after retweeting a post from Katie Hopkins branding his doomed appeal “utter madness”.

DEFIANT: Faye Johnson has backed her nonce brother

Johnson made headlines again in March when it emerged he is allegedly running a fantasy football team from the slammer.

Faye revealed her brother has been running the team – named Bronson’s11 – for “over two years” on Twitter.

In a tweet posted on March 19 she lashed out at the claims made by the Sun on Sunday.

The tweet, shared with her 4,000 followers, read: “The desperation to write a story on AJ. The league has been going over 2 year.”
