7M - The Special one crashed Man United?

In the Premier League era, the Old Trafford has been a horrible stadium for many visitors. It's difficult for any team to earn points here. Let's look back some data under different managers during recent years.

Sir Alex Ferguson finished his Old Trafford career with a winning rate of 72% at home in the league.

Then, in the last three seasons, although Man United had been struggling during this period, Louis van Gaal won 68% of his 38 home games while David Moyes' home record reached 44% winning rate.

What about this season? 6 wins in 16 so far, Jose Mourinho's first season at Old Trafford received the lowest winning rate at home in the history of Manchester United, 38%.

The Red Devils have collected only 27 points at home this season. Is it because of strength or fortune?

United hit the woodwork for 18 times by far, and 8 of them were created by Paul Pogba. This is the highest record among all the teams in the league. Although they have dominated the game on the pitch, United finally failed to win due to many reasons.

According to Independent, “There are different stats and the stats are never the same but the last one we are the second team in the Premier League with most shots but we are the third worst in the relation between the shots and the number of goals we score,” Mourinho said.

So, it appears that Mourinho's side are really out of luck? Not exactly, strong teams will always be lucky. United's poor records should also be related to their quality.

After a 1-1 draw with Everton at Old Trafford, there are only 7 rounds left currently. Mourinho admitted that top-four finish will be very difficult.

On the other hand, injury situation is another concern for the club. Juan Mata and Phil Jones will be missing for a long time. Many players are facing a threat of injury after playing a major part of the season. It's extremely hard for them to make any efforts on both lines.

The 54-year-old manager apparently saw through everything as he already sounded like he was more interested in winning the Europa League than he is in qualifying for the top-4.

That, after all, do you think United will qualify for the Champions League next season?
