Antoine Griezmann has admitted it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN has dropped a transfer bomb that may disappoint Manchester United fans.

Manchester United have made Atletico Madrid striker Griezmann their No1 summer transfer target.

Jose Mourinho is keen to trigger the Frenchman's £86million release clause.

Having established himself as one of the world's most feared forwards, clubs will be queuing up to sign him.

Atletico have been assessing their options should Griezmann leave, with Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette on their wish list.

And despite stopping short of stating he wants to leave the Vicente Calderon, he hasn't concealed the fact it would be a 'dream' to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

When pressed for his thoughts on the matter, Griezmann said: "Why not? That's the dream for every player, to be at big clubs like that, or Bayern Munich.

"But right now I don't see myself at Barcelona or Real, or anywhere else. I'm happy in Spain."

Griezmann signed a new five-year deal with Atletico last summer.

He has netted 22 times in all competitions this term.
