Pandiani's famous truck bought at auction
Posted Thursday, February 23, 2017 by Marca.com
Most footballers arrive at training in a supercar or an elite 4x4, but Walter Pandiani used to show up in the front unit of a lorry - something that made him an instant idol.
The former Deportivo La Coruna, Espanyol and Osasuna forward - who retired in 2016 - saw the vehicle, which had done 935,700 kilometres, go to auction in Barcelona, where its initial valuation was 4,500 euros, a figure that has duly been met.
Now enjoying retirement, Pandiani is happy that he no longer needs the truck.
