Starsport can reveal the veteran defender has rejected lucrative offers from three different clubs in America to join them ahead of the new season, which starts next month.
The three franchises keen to land Terry are LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and Orlando City.
But Terry, 36, has turned them all down in favour of seeing out the remainder of his deal at Stamford Bridge.
Terry is desperate to win his fifth league title with Chelsea this season.

The former England captain penned a new 12-month deal last May that saw him accept a £90,000-a-week pay cut.
He will become a free agent in the summer and it remains to be seen if the Blues will hand him another contract extension.
The centre back has struggled to hold down a regular starting place in Antonio Conte’s side this season.
He has been restricted to just nine appearances in all competitions and was sent-off in their recent FA Cup win over Peterborough.
Terry could secure a signing-on fee of around £500,000 plus a deal worth around £200,000-a-week if he joins the MLS.
But despite being approached the former England captain has told them he will not make a decision on his future until June.
Terry has spoken to close friend and former team-mate Frank Lampard about life in the MLS.
Lampard spent two seasons with New York City FC before announcing his retirement earlier this month.
MLS bosses are keen to lure a big name to the league to boost it’s profile following the retirements of Lampard and Steven Gerrard, who played for Galaxy.
Terry has become a prime target along with England and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney.
