One of the most iconic beards in the Premier League has now gone.

Crystal Palace and Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley has revealed a brand new look on social media on Tuesday while celebrating Valentine's Day.

Ledley showed off his new clean shaven look in a picture with his wife Ruby May Ridgeway.

Will his new look help Palace in their relegation battle? Probably not, but at this stage Eagles fans will cling onto anything for fresh belief they can beat the drop.

Palace in trouble

Sam Allardyce's side followed up the 4-0 drumming by Sunderland at Selhurst Park losing 1-0 away at Stoke last weekend.

Palace are second bottom of the Premier League with just 19 points from 25 matches.

Big Sam's arrival has failed to give Palace any sort of boost, and the south London club are looking doomed for the drop.

Next up for Palace is a home match against Boro on February 25, followed by games against West Brom, Spurs, Watford and Chelsea.
