Messi signs contract renewal... with Adidas

A lot of Barcelona fans will be eagerly waiting to see whether Lionel Messi renews his contract with the club, but on Friday it was a different deal that was extended - his sponsorship arrangement with Adidas.
The German sportswear company have always represented the Argentine star, and that is set to continue into the future with the new agreement.
"Happy to continue collaborating with Adidas," Messi said. "Here's to many more years together."
As for the other contract renewal, it'll be sometime before a definitive arrangement is reached, something sure to keep cules restless and on the edge of their seats.
