A livid Crystal Palace supporter has been arrested after attempting to confront Eagles defender Damien Delaney.
In a proverbial six-pointer at Selhurst Park Palace were battered 4-0 by relegation rivals Sunderland on Saturday.
The hosts were four down at half time, leading to chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt"from their irate faithful.
And one fan's temper boiled over, forcing his way onto the pitch towards Delaney as the two teams headed down the tunnel at the break.
Stadium security struggled to restrain the supporter who was subsequently arrested by police.
Delaney didn't return for the second half, with Sam Allardyce replacing the stricken defender with Andros Townsend.
It couldn't get any worse after the break for Palace, but they didn't reduce the scoreline as many of the club's supporters left way before the final whistle.
