Steven Gerrard Goes Bananas After Liverpool Equaliser Against Chelsea

No one was more relieved to see Liverpool's losing streak come to an end than Steven Gerrard, tonight. Or at least that's how the former Reds' skipper's reaction to Georginio Wijnaldum's equaliser against Chelsea made it seem.
Jurgen Klopp's men looked as though they were en route to a fourth consecutive Anfield defeat after David Luiz thundered home a terrific free kick in the first half. However, Wijnaldum's headed effort in the second half spared the Reds' another loss and it came as a huge relief to Gerrard, who was covering the game as a pundit for BT Sport.
Simon Mignolet would ensure the Reds came away with a point, denying Diego Costa from the penalty spot late on, atoning for his fault for Luiz's strike, when the Brazilian defender caught him off guard with his outrageous effort.
We imagine Gerrard's reaction to Mignolet's heroics were similarly passionate.
However, the Liverpool legend will be hoping Klopp's team can return to winning ways sooner rather than later, with only one victory, against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup, being recorded in 2017 out of a possible nine.
