Lassana Diarra has not played for Marseille in 2017
Manchester United are said to be eyeing a bargain deal for Diarra before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The 31-year-old has been at Marseille since 2015 and is supposedly interested in what United have to offer.
And French newspaper L'Equipe claim the former Real Madrid star has vowed not to play for the Ligue 1 club.
According to the report, Diarra withdrew himself from selection after a talk with manager Rudi Garcia.
Marseille are on the verge of signing West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet, who had his medical at the club today.
And they recently captured former United left-back Patrice Evra.
