Charlton Athletic vs Milton Keynes Dons - Karl Robinson takes charge of Charlton against his former club

Karl Robinson takes charge of Charlton for the first time against his former club MK Dons.

Robinson, who was Dons manager for six years until he was sacked in October, will check on defender Chris Solly.

The full-back has missed Charlton's last three games with a knee injury.

Striker Lee Novak is fit after hamstring trouble but winger Ricky Holmes (foot) and midfielder Ahmed Kashi (Achilles) remain sidelined.

Richie Barker is expected to remain in charge of MK Dons and he should have an unchanged squad to choose from.

Barker, in charge for seven matches since Robinson left, may name the same team that started last weekend's win at Coventry - a first in the league for the Milton Keynes club in eight matches.

Should the caretaker manager wish to tweak things he has the likes of Ben Reeves, George Williams, Jack Hendry and Ryan Colclough available for recalls, while Lee Nicholls may also be preferred in goal.

Chuks Aneke continued his return from injury with another substitute appearance at the Ricoh Arena and the former Arsenal striker could get some more minutes under his belt in Saturday's second-round FA Cup tie.
