Stourbridge vs Northampton Town - Stourbridge looking strong for Northampton test
Posted Friday, December 02, 2016 by PA
Stourbridge have a fully-fit squad to face Northampton as they look to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time in their history.
Glassboys boss Gary Hackett will put his faith in Luke Benbow who has scored 15 league goals and netted twice in their first-round replay win over Whitehawk.
Stourbridge have now reached the second round four times in the last five years, losing twice to Stevenage and also being beaten by Eastleigh at this stage last season.
They are 10th in the Northern League Premier Division with the Cobblers 17th in Sky Bet League One.
Northampton have a few injury concerns ahead of the trip.
Defender Brendan Moloney is struggling with a knee injury but will be assessed before the game.
Fellow defender Zander Diamond is likely to miss out with a fractured cheekbone after undergoing surgery. Forward JJ Hooper is a doubt as he recovers from a thigh injury while John-Joe O'Toole is suspended for the game.
The Cobblers, who thrashed Harrow Borough 6-0 in the previous round, look to begin December on a high note on the back of a five-game winless streak.
