Chesterfield vs Wycombe Wanderers - Chesterfield still struggling for Wycombe clash
Posted Friday, December 02, 2016 by PA
Chesterfield's injury problems are showing signs of easing but not quick enough for any players to return for the FA Cup tie at home to Wycombe.
Striker Ched Evans and midfielder Jon Nolan are not 100 per cent fit yet while Angel Martinez is back in training following his lengthy absence with a serious knee problem.
On-loan striker Conor Wilkinson is expected to resume training next week after his knee injury and it is hoped he might play again later this month.
However, goalkeeper Tommy Lee has suffered a setback in his recovery and requires another shoulder operation while full-back Liam Graham has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and may not play again this season.
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth has no fresh injury or suspension concerns for the game.
Dayle Southwell (groin) and Max Muller (hamstring) remain long-term absentees.
Chairboys midfielder Nick Freeman joined Wealdstone on loan until January this week.
