Sandro has given QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink a selection dilemma for the visit of Birmingham.

The Brazilian midfielder has yet to feature in the league this season but capped an impressive display with a goal in the 2-1 EFL Cup defeat to Sunderland on Wednesday night.

Alex Smithies, Nedum Onuoha, Jake Bidwell and Tjaronn Chery were rested from the starting line-up against the Black Cats and are set to to return.

James Perch (knee), Jack Robinson (shin splints), Ben Gladwin and Jamie Mackie (both ankle) remain sidelined.

Birmingham top scorer Clayton Donaldson is a doubt for their trip to Loftus Road with an Achilles injury.

The four-goal striker suffered a knock to his Achilles in the build-up to last week's winner in Birmingham's 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

Robert Tesche also has an ankle injury and the midfielder is unlikely to feature after missing the win over the Owls.

Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak remains sidelined with a groin injury meaning Adam Legzdins is likely to again deputise for Gary Rowett's side.
