Granit Xhaka's shushing celebration after Hull goal explained

Granit Xhaka will tell his grandchildren about his first goal for Arsenal.
The Switzerland star scored a screamer from 30 yards in the Gunners' 4-1 win at Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
He could play for 20 more years and he'll never score a better goal. It was that good.
Not only will it be worthy of a mention in the goal of the season discussion, but Xhaka's celebration caused sparked a conversation, too.
Mainly because people couldn't quite understand the 23-year-old's message.
After scoring a worldie, Xhaka could have been excused for running the length of the pitch, a la Emmanuel Adebayor, before ripping off his shirt, performing a cartwheel and doing the dab.
Instead, he simply chose to perform a shushing gesture.

WHAT THE CELEBRATION MEANT
Many wondered if the former Borussia Monchengladbach man was making a point to Arsene Wenger for starting him on the bench.
But Arsenal fan and Twitter user @grocanon has a much more plausible explanation.
He claims that Xhaka, frustrated by Swiss media criticising him for expressing his interest in playing international football for Kosovo, was making a political statement.
Kosovo were granted FIFA membership earlier this year and Xhaka, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents, revealed his desire to represent the newly-recognised nation.
Swiss journalists responded by blasting the Arsenal man. He came in for even more flak when he missed a penalty for Switzerland in their Euro 2016 shootout defeat to Poland.
SPOTLIGHT
It emerged last month that Xhaka's involvement at Euro 2016 means he is unable to play for Kosovo. Not forgetting the way he was attacked by the Swiss media, he waited for the perfect moment to deliver his message.
That came at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday. There's no way Switzerland missed Xhaka's message.
The midfielder took to Instagram after Arsenal's win, which takes them to third in the table, to celebrate his goal.
