Bristol City midfielder Korey Smith will feature against Sheffield Wednesday after making a surprise midweek return.
Smith had not trained for six weeks before the showdown with fellow Sky Bet Championship relegation rivals Rotherham but came through the 1-1 draw unscathed.
Robins boss Lee Johnson will select from the same squad which fought back on Tuesday to move seven points clear of the bottom three.
On-loan striker Peter Odemwingie scored his second goal in three starts against Rotherham and will link up with either Aaron Wilbraham or Jonathan Kodjia in attack.
Sheffield Wednesday defender Glenn Loovens faces a late fitness test after sustaining an ankle injury in the midweek win against Blackburn. Vincent Sasso replaced him on Tuesday night and is on stand-by.
Midfielder Barry Bannan returns to contention after serving a three-game ban following his straight red card in the recent win at Nottingham Forest.
Fellow midfielder Sam Hutchinson has missed the last two games through illness and although making good progress is not expected to be included in the squad.
The Owls, fifth in the table, are chasing a fifth straight league win in their bid to secure a play-off place.
