Reading vs Burnley - Triple doubt for Reading ahead of Burnley's visit
Posted Friday, February 12, 2016 by PA
Reading have injury concerns over Matej Vydra, Danny Williams and Hal Robson-Kanu for the home game against Burnley.
Striker Vydra and midfielder Williams are carrying hamstring injuries and winger Robson-Kanu is also a fitness doubt.
Latvia forward Deniss Rakels could therefore have more of a part to play having come on for his debut as a late substitute in the goalless draw with Wolves last weekend.
Midfielder Aaron Tshibola is still out with a hamstring injury.
Burnley will again be without midfielder Dean Marney.
Marney has suffered a series of niggling injuries since returning from a cruciate ligament tear in November and is currently sidelined by a calf problem.
New signing James Tarkowski will hope to be involved but faces a battle to oust either Michael Keane or Ben Mee at centre-back.
Sean Dyche said at his pre-match press conference: "You don't sign someone for three minutes, it's for the longer term. He's a good player and we're pleased he's here."
