Port Vale will be missing defender Ryan Inniss for Saturday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Fleetwood.

Inniss is set for a couple of weeks out after coming off in the first half of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Coventry due to a hamstring problem.

Michael O'Connor has not been involved recently because of a knock but is expected to be available for this weekend.

Fellow midfielder Chris Birchall and winger Enoch Andoh (both knee) remain sidelined.

Fleetwood's injury problems continue to mount with captain Nathan Pond ruled out for six to eight weeks with a thigh problem.

Defender Joe Davis has not trained all week, leaving manager Steven Pressley with major issues at the back.

On-loan Everton striker David Henen has returned to his parent club for treatment on a hamstring injury which will keep him sidelined for a month.

Midfielders Jimmy Ryan and Eggert Jonsson have also missed training , although there is an outside chance Antoni Sarcevic will be available.
