Charlton Athletic vs Nottingham Forest - Charlton face injury crisis ahead of Nottingham Forest visit

Struggling Charlton have a host of injury worries ahead of the Sky Bet Championship visit of Nottingham Forest.

Teenage forward Ademola Lookman limped out of Monday's defeat by Wolves with a hamstring injury and defender Patrick Bauer has missed the last two matches with an abdominal problem.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Alou Diarra are battling to shake off ankle knocks and Jordan Cousins sat out against Wolves through illness.

Igor Vetokele and Ahmed Kashi remain long-term absentees but Cristian Ceballos is fit again after four months out with a calf injury.

Dougie Freedman may be tempted to spare teenage goalscorer Oliver Burke from the axe as he prepares to shuffle his pack of Forest players once again.

The 18-year-old notched his first goal for the Reds to force a 1-1 draw at Cardiff and should continue on the right wing, but the left-footed Jamie Ward could be rested as Freedman shakes things up.

The Scottish boss said: "I rotate the squad - that's my philosophy. The only thing I'm a little bit nervous about is the travelling fans, who are fantastic and pay money. They might want to see a few start who have been playing recently. I've got to take that into consideration."

Eric Lichaj will continue to deputise for injured left-back Daniel Pinillos (anterior cruciate ligament) and newly-fit defender Kelvin Wilson will hope to be involved after missing out completely in Cardiff.
