Leeds United vs Milton Keynes Dons - Chris Wood doubtful as Leeds face MK Dons

Leeds striker Chris Wood is doubtful for the home game against MK Dons due to a hamstring strain.

Wood was forced out of Tuesday night's home draw against Derby shortly after heading Leeds in front and head coach Steve Evans rates his chances of being involved at 50/50.

Alex Mowatt has missed the last three games due to a groin problem and remains doubtful, while fellow midfielder Lewis Cook is pushing for a recall after starting on the bench in midweek.

Captain Sol Bamba is hoping to continue after scoring in his first start since the end of October against Derby as Leeds bid to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.

Dons boss Karl Robinson will run the rule over tricky winger Danny Powell before travelling.

After spending half an hour harassing Birmingham's defenders at St Andrew's on Monday, Powell had to be withdrawn with a leg knock and the Blues went on to win 1-0 through Jacques Maghoma's goal.

Diego Poyet recovered from injury to play the full 90 minutes and should keep his place, while Welsh striker Simon Church is bidding to be involved after missing out completely in Birmingham.

Joe Walsh is back in action after knee trouble but his fellow defender Matt Upson (thigh) remains sidelined and will not contribute as the Dons go in search of a first away win since the opening day.
