Hibernian FC vs Raith Rovers - Fraser Fyvie suspended as Hibernian look to pick themselves up

Hibernian midfielder Fraser Fyvie is suspended for the Ladbrokes Championship visit of Raith Rovers after being handed a two-match ban for feigning injury against Rangers.

Captain David Gray is a doubt after suffering a head knock during the 4-2 defeat at Ibrox but new signing Chris Dagnall could come into contention.

Head coach Alan Stubbs told Hibs TV: "I have spoken to all the players individually and collectively about not feeling sorry for themselves, not that they were.

"We have done really, really well up till now and if I was given this situation before the season started, would have I taken it? Of course I would."

Raith head to Easter Road without five injured players as Lewis Toshney and Grant Anderson have hamstring problems with Craig Barr (groin), Jason Thomson (back) and Lewis Vaughan (knee) also missing out.

There could be a further absentee as Iain Davidson has been ill but manager Ray McKinnon tried to remain positive.

He said: "We have lost twice to Hibs this season, however we have been really unlucky.

"They have a really strong squad and had been going well until they lost to Rangers on Monday. However, if we play like we have already this season against them and get a bit of good fortune we have a chance."
