Shrewsbury Town vs Gillingham - Micky Mellon set to name unchanged Shrewsbury side

Mat Sadler is back from suspension for Shrewsbury but Micky Mellon's side could be unchanged after their impressive win at Sheffield United.

Ian Black shrugged off a dead leg to score in the 4-2 victory at Bramall Lane on Tuesday and is expected to feature against Gillingham.

Scott Vernon made his first start of the season against United while Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro could also feature after returning to the squad for the first time in three games after being given time off after personal issues.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival is struggling with a knee injury which has forced him to sit out the last two games.

Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh is expected to retain much of the team that beat Rochdale 2-0 in midweek.

Rory Donnelly, who played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday, is suspended, so he is likely to be replaced by Cody McDonald.

Beyond him, and an ankle injury that will keep Luke Norris sidelined until at least mid-December, Edinburgh has a fully-fit squad from which to choose.

"(Shrewsbury) will be buoyed by an excellent away victory against Sheffield United," Edinburgh said. "It will be a tough encounter and if we are going to get anything we need to be resolute and compact as we were on Tuesday."
