Ten-man Bastia secured a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 victory against Rennes with a 2-1 comeback win at the Stade Armand-Cesari.
Despite a quiet opening to the game, Rennes grabbed a foothold six minutes before the break when Giovanni Sio headed Ludovic Baal's delivery beyond Jean-Louis Leca from close range.
However, the hosts hit back just after the interval when Sadio Diallo's delivery was expertly volleyed home at the back-post by Floyd Ayite, before Ayite's 68th-minute corner fell to Francois Kamano who fired beyond Benoit Costil.
Bastia were reduced to 10 men late on when Brandao lashed out at Pedro Henrique but Ghislain Printant's men held on for an opening win of the season.
