Mohamed Larbi missed a penalty as Gazelec Ajaccio drew 0-0 away to fellow Ligue 1 newcomers Troyes at the Stade de l'Aube.

Yohan Court had the first real opportunity for the hosts but his 20-yard half-volley was pushed away by Jules Goda before Gazelec wasted a glorious opportunity before the break when they were awarded a spot-kick.

Larbi took charge from 12 yards but the Tunisian blazed over the bar, much to the joy of the home crowd.

Goda was the busiest of the two keepers in the second half, denying both Fabien Camus and Jimmy Cabot, and his work ensured the Corsicans left the north east with a point.
