Hearts 3 : 0 Alloa Athletic - Hearts back on the march

Champions Hearts got back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over lowly Alloa.

The Jambos, who fell to only their second defeat of the season against Rangers last week, were frustrated by the visitors until two minutes before half-time, Callum Paterson breaking the deadlock with a long-range effort.

It was two four minutes after the interval when Danny Wilson headed in James Keatings' punt into the area.

Alloa almost pulled one back through Iain Flannigan, but his shot whistled narrowly wide.

Soufian El Hassnaoui made sure of the points in the 69th minute when he crashed in the third from 20 yards, and Alloa's Mark Docherty was sent off for a second booking at the death.
