He's the master time-waster! Liverpool legend Carragher SLAMS Chelsea boss Mourinho

JAMIE CARRAGHER has hit out at Jose Mourinho over his suggestions the ballboys at St James' Park played a big part in Chelsea's defeat to Newcastle last Saturday.

The Special One was highly critical of the ballboys at St James' Park after the Blues' 2-1 defeat, and implied numerous times that they deliberately slowed the game down once Newcastle took the lead.

But Carragher has hit out at Mourinho, and claimed he has no right to criticise the ballboys  as he was guilty of time wasting in Chelsea's 2-0 victory at Anfield last season.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "Well maybe those ballboys were watching the game at Anfield last season when Jose Mourinho gave a masterclass in time-wasting

“We covered the game and we sort of agreed with it.

"It’s part of the game, it happens, they had six minutes of added time at the end, it was added on, and it’s part of the game.

"As I said, he’s the master at it.”
