Liverpool visit for Odegaard

Martin Odegaard spent some time at Liverpool's Melwood training ground on Thursday as part of his visit to the club.
The teenager, who turns 16 later this month, is one of Europe's hottestproperties and has already made similar trips to Bayern Munich, BorussiaDortmund, Real Madrid and Manchester United among others.
Odegaard, who became the youngest player to feature in a European Qualifier when he played against Bulgaria aged 15 years and 300 days, currently plays forStromsgodset in Norway.
He will be able to sign a formal professional contract when he turns 16 onDecember 17 and is a self-confessed Liverpool fan like his father, whoaccompanied him on his visit to Merseyside which also included a tour ofAnfield.
"Liverpool have always been my dream club," Odegaard saidlast month."But I will not let this affect my decision when I choose a new club.
"It's all about finding the team that is best for me and for my development.That is not necessarily Liverpool."
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is aware of the youngster's quality.
Speaking last month hesaid: "I know he's a big talent, at that age to be playing seniorfootball at 15 and in a competitive league.
"He's got wonderful ability and wonderful talent."
