Airdrie United vs Greenock Morton preview - Ben boosts Airdrie in Morton re-run

Airdrie will add on-loan Partick defender Ben Everton-Richards to their squad when they face Morton just four days after losing to the Greenock side in their William Hill Scottish Cup replay.

Everton-Richards is available after missing out on Tuesday's 2-0 defeat, while Luca Gasporroto is on international duty with Canada and David Proctor remains sidelined with a groin injury.

Manager Gary Bollan said: "The best thing often after a defeat is to get playing again quickly and we have that, albeit against the same opposition.

"We have the chance to get our cup exit out of our system quickly and we intend to take it."

Morton midfielder Joe McKee is free of suspension, but a rib injury will keep him out against the Diamonds.

Thomas O'Ware is expected to miss out due to a shin problem, while Declan McManus will feature after being given leave of absence from the Scotland Under-21s squad.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "We have to treat this as a brand new game where the slate has been wiped clean.

"It is the third time we have met each other in two weeks, which is not ideal, however we need to go out and be better than them again.

"We might have won on Tuesday, but that counts for nothing now."
