RADAMEL FALCAO has been backed to come good for Manchester United.
Colombia boss Jose Pekerman has assured United fans a fully firing Falcao will be well worth the wait.
Falcao - on a £6m season-long-loan from Monaco - is yet to regain full fitness after a serious knee injury that ruled him out of the World Cup.
And the striker, 28, is struggling to convince the doubters that he can get back to his best.
Falcao hasn't started a match since opening his United account against Everton on October 5 and missed the Old Trafford side's last three games.
He is a doubt for United's trip to Arsenal on November 22 due to a calf injury.
This week he was also forced to hit back at claims he has to ice his troublesome knee after every training session and match.

United have an option to make Falcao's loan move a £43m permanent one at the end of the season.
But the question marks over his fitness mean that is no longer a foregone conclusion.
Pekerman, whose Colombia side take on the USA tonight at Craven Cottage without injured talisman Falcao, said: "Falcao is at one of the best clubs in the world, in one of the best leagues and with one of the best managers under Louis van Gaal.
"Playing in England is clearly a new experience for him - but everywhere he has been he has adapted and excelled, achieved great things.
"That was the case in South America, and also in Europe in Spain and at Monaco. There is no doubting his ability.
"And I am sure that Manchester United fans will see him at his very best once he has got through this difficult moment with injuries."
