CHELSEA are apparently ready to raid Real Madrid for Manchester United target Gareth Bale next summer.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blues are looking at the availability of the Welshman as reports claim that he does not fit in with Carlo Ancelotti's latest formation.
Bale joined the Spanish outfit from Tottenham in a deal worth £85million over a year ago, and has helped himself to 28 goals in 58 appearances.
However, the rise of versatile midfielder Isco has seen Bale's place in the first XI come under threat, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez and Luka Modric all automatic starters at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bale's precarious situation has seen him linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent times, with Louis Van Gaal desperate to add some much-needed quality to his squad.
Despite interest from the Red Devils, this latest report indicates that should Bale be allowed to depart the Champions League holders at the end of the season, Jose Mourinho's Chelsea will be one of the first clubs to offer the 25-year-old a new home.
