Xavi Hernández to go to Tokyo?

A story in Tuesday's edition of Japanese paper Nikkan Sports suggests that J.League outfit FC Tokyo have put out the feelers with regards to a possible move for Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernández this winter.

According to the report, the Barça legend has been earmarked as a marquee signing ahead of the 2015 season, which kicks off in March.

FC Tokyo are reportedly willing to offer the passmaster a salary of around 1 million yen (7m of euros) a year.
