Real on course for 140 goals

There is one figure that clearly reflects Real Madrid's rampaging form. Ten league matches in, and they have already hit 37 goals, clear proof of the attacking power of Carlo Ancelotti's side.

If the team can keep this up, not an easy thing to manage of course, they could get to the end of the season with 140 goals in the 'For' column, which would easily beat Jose Mourinho's team of 2011-2012 which scored 121 goals and racked up 100 points.

At the same stage (ten games in) that season, Real had netted 32 and they did keep it up to set the current record.

Oddly, Ancelotti's team have scored more goals away from the Bernabéu: 21 on the road and 16 at home. And not only that, they have notched up 14 goals more than either Valencia or Barcelona, who have scored just 23. So it all points to Real Madrid once again passing the 100 mark.
