LIVERPOOL supporters have taken to Twitter demanding Brendan Rodgers cuts short Divock Origi's loan spell at Lille following the striker's solid performance against Everton in the Europa League.
BRING HIM BACK: Liverpool fans were excited by Divock Origi's performance against Everton
Origi played the full 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw and looked lively as he caused the Toffees backline plenty of problems.
Liverpool fans had seen enough to call for Origi's return with Daniel Sturridge out injured and Mario Balotelli struggling for form.
One Reds fan said: "We should just recall Origi from his loan if we can and play him up top until Christmas."
Another said: "Get this Origi back ASAP."
Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore went one step further and suggested the club send under-fire Balotelli to Lille in order to bring the Belgian back to Anfield early.
He said: "Here’s one idea. #LFC send Mario to Lille, get Origi in January."
