Aston Villa assistant manager Roy Keane offered some interesting thoughts and comments at his official book launch today.
The former Manchester United legend criticised Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for his antics towards the end of Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
The Chelsea boss attempted to shake the hands of the men in charge at Aston Villa, who both ignored his request.
Roy Keane blasted Mourinho, describing his behaviour as ‘a disgrace’ and claiming he’d be ‘knocked out’ if he did that at Sunday League football.
You didn’t look impressed by José Mourinho trying to shake your hand the other week?
No, because the game is still going on.
Why did he do it? Was it him after power too?
I don’t mind all that but the game is still going on. It’s disgraceful. I’ve seen him doing it to other managers; it is a disgrace. The game is still going on. You wouldn’t do that on a Sunday morning, you would get knocked out.
