Cowdenbeath vs Queen of South preview - Sutherland back for Blue Brazil

Bottom club Cowdenbeath include the fit-again Craig Sutherland against visitors Queen of the South.

However, Blue Brazil boss Jimmy Nicholl has ruled out John Armstrong (knee), Nat Wedderburn (calf), Lewis Milne (knee) and Kenny Adamson (foot).

"We played really well against Hearts last week in the first half and we did really well against Hibs in the second half the week before so this team is very capable, however they need to show that for an entire game," said Nicholl, as his team go in search of their first win of the season.

"Queen's will be difficult but we can win, especially if we are strong defensively."

Queen of the South have Mark Kerr available for the first time this season after a hamstring injury but Daniel Carmichael is doubtful after picking up a knee problem in training.

Chris Mitchell (back), Paul Burns (knee), Stephen McKenna (hip) and Michael Paton (hamstring) all continue to be out, with Scott Hooper unlikely to be risked after a head injury.

Stand-in boss James Fowler said: "It is still business as usual as there have been no developments in the managerial front. After drawing with Falkirk and beating Hibs in my two games in charge I am hoping to make it seven points from nine, which would be a great return."
