Valencia boss Nuno does not believe his side are favourites for their Primera Division clash at Getafe on Monday evening.
Los Che have begun this season with two wins and a draw and will be looking for their third victory in a row when they head to the Spanish capital.
However Nuno, who is in his first season at the helm after replacing the sacked Juan Antonio Pizzi in the summer, is not expecting an easy ride.
"I do not think that Valencia are favourites against Getafe," he told reporters.
"We are a team determined to play well and fulfil our potential.
"Getafe are competitive and complicated, they are a good opponent, they won at home and we expect a tough game."
Skipper Dani Parejo believes confidence is high at the Mestalla, but like his boss acknowledges they won't have an easy game.
"We go to Getafe eager and with the aim of achieving our third straight win of the season, although we are aware that we visit a very tough ground," Parejo told the club's official website.
Getafe's Pablo Sarabia wants to make the Coliseum Alfonso Perez a fortress as they look to pick up their second win of the season.
"We are motivated, going out to bite (at their heels);" he told the club's official website.
"We want to win against Valencia, we want to be strong in our house and make sure that the points stay here.
"We will host a very strong rival, who have players with high quality, committed to play good football, but we have to try to keep the ball in our possession."
