Wycombe Wanderers vs Cambridge United preview - Ingram fit for Wycombe start

Matt Ingram looks set to line up in goal for Wycombe when they welcome Cambridge.

Goalkeeper Ingram played against Portsmouth last weekend despite suffering all week with a stomach bug and the 20-year-old will start for the Chairboys once more having returned to training with his team-mates.

But boss Gareth Ainsworth could be tempted to shuffle his side at the other end of the pitch after their 1-1 draw with Portsmouth with the likes of Steven Craig and Aaron Holloway hoping to nudge Matt McClure out of the starting line-up.

Wycombe's impressive start to the campaign has seen them climb to third place in League Two, just two points behind leaders Bury.

Cambridge will be without Tom Naylor through suspension.

The midfielder only joined the U's on a month's loan from Derby last week, but he was shown a straight red card on his debut against Luton on Saturday and starts a three-match ban.

Defender Matteo Lanzoni was left on the bench for the 1-0 defeat by the Hatters after suffering with a sickness bug, but he has had a further week to recover and should be fine.

Liam Hughes (broken wrist), Tom Champion (broken cheekbone), Luke Chadwick (hamstring) and Ian Miller (Achilles) are still in the treatment room.
