Napoli waiting on Fellaini to confirm loan move from Man United

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini will reportedly give Napoli an answer over his potential loan move to the Italian club after the Champions League tie against Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday night.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Belgium international will make his decision based on whether Napoli have a chance of making it through to the group stage of the competition.

Rafael Benitez is keen to sign Fellaini, who has failed to produce his best form at Old Trafford following his £27.5m move to the club last summer.

Even though Louis van Gaal has now taken over as manager, Fellaini seems surplus to requirements at United and is looking to get his career back on track.

Napoli are believed to have finally struck a deal with United which will see Fellaini join the club on a season-long loan.
