Plymouth vs Stevenage preview - Harvey out to retain spot

Plymouth derby hero Tyler Harvey will hope to keep his place for the visit of Stevenage.

Harvey was only drafted into the starting line-up against Exeter after an injury to Lee Cox but he set the Pilgrims on their way to a 3-0 victory with a fine free-kick and he looks set to make just his seventh start for the club against Boro.

Cox will be assessed by Argyle's medical staff ahead of kick off while midfielder Dominic Blizzard looks likely to miss out once more with a persistent thigh injury which continues to trouble the former Bristol Rovers man.

River Allen, 18, will be involved once more after another substitute appearance against the Grecians.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley is still assessing a number of his players ahead of their trip down to the south coast.

Chris Beardsley (knee), Ronnie Henry (knee), Dean Parrett (cruciate ligament) and Calvin Zola (hamstring) all missed Saturday's defeat to Southend.

Simon Walton is likely to continue in midfield in the place of Andy Bond after making his first appearance against the Shrimpers.

Summer arrival Chris Whelpdale netted his and Stevenage's only goal of the campaign so far against Hartlepool on the opening day and should retain his place.
