Falkirk vs Glasgow Rangers preview - Injury problems for Falkirk
Posted Thursday, August 14, 2014 by PA
Falkirk go looking for their first league win of the season against Rangers without Kieran Duffie (foot) and Lewis Small (shoulder).
Thomas Grant remains sidelined due to illness with striker Rory Boulding, who has been on trial recently, not listed in manager Peter Houston's squad.
Technical director Alex Smith is determined that Falkirk show they are to be treated seriously in the promotion stakes.
He saidd: "We keep on hearing that the Championship is a three-horse race, however we're not in it to make up the numbers. We want to be involved in the chase."
Midfielder Ian Black and full-back Richard Foster are both major doubts as Rangers seek their first Scottish Championship points of the campaign.
The pair both went off with calf injuries during the opening-day defeat by Hearts.
Centre-back Bilel Mohsni is back in the squad following suspension but striker Jon Daly (knee) remains on the sidelines.
