Stenhousemuir vs Airdrie United preview - Smith sits out Stenny opener

Stenhousemuir goalkeeper Chris Smith has been ruled out by a knee injury as his side launch the new season against Airdrie just seven days after knocking them out of the Scottish League Cup.
Manager Scott Booth, who has no other major selection headaches, is wary of a backlash from the visitors.
He said: "This was always going to be a tricky tie, but our win last week has made it even trickier.
"Airdrie will be using it as extra motivation and we have to be on our guard.
"We played well at their place particularly in the first half and deserved the win, but I know that Airdrie will be out to play better than they did."
Airdrie manager Gary Bollan will pick his side after injury checks on midfielder Nathan Blockley and sought-after striker Liam Coogans.
Bollan, demanding an improvement from his side, said: "Our display last week was very disappointing.
"We did not play well and the gameplan was not followed, but to be fair to the players that has not happened too often since I came in.
"We are looking to put that right and everyone has talked about doing a lot better.
"Talking about doing better is easy and the players know that I'm expecting them to do the harder thing, which is going out and doing it."
