Cristiano Ronaldo's brace in the UEFA Super Cup triumph over Sevilla not only enabled Real Madrid to tick off the first of the six pieces of silverware they are going for this season; it also completed the forward's trophy collection at club level.
Following the victory in Cardiff, Cristiano has tasted glory in every competition he has featured in for his clubs. After lifting three Premier Leagues, two League Cups, one FA Cup, two Community Shields, one Champions League and a Club World Cup during his time at Manchester United, he has carried on this glittering run since moving to the Bernabéu.
In addition to inspiring 'Los Blancos' to two Spanish Cups, one league title and one Spanish Super Cup, Ronaldo played a key role in the capture of the long-coveted 'Décima', the club's 10th European Cup, last season.
This triumph gave the Portuguese talisman a second bite at the cherry in the UEFA Super Cup. The first time around, back at Manchester United in 2008, he missed the clash with Zenit Saint Petersburg through injury and watched on as the Red Devils were defeated 2-1.
