TOTTENHAM have become the latest Premier League club to express an interest in signing Real Sociedad forward Antoine Griezmann.
FUTURE SPUR: Tottenham are chasing Real Sociedad ace Antoine Griezmann
According to reports, new Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is eager to sign the French international, who rejected a new two-year deal with Sociedad earlier this month.
Pochettino has been in charge at White Hart Lane for just over a month now, but hasn't signed any new players this summer, much to the annoyance of many Spurs fans.
But they would certainly forgive the former Southampton boss for his lack of action in the transfer market if he was able to sign the highly talented French forward.
Spurs will have to splash the clash if they want to sign the Frenchman as Sociedad won't let him leave the Anoeta Stadium unless his £23.9m buy-out clause is met.
Greizmann, 23, scored 20 goals in 49 appearances for the La Liga side last season and also bagged three assists.
His impressive form saw him earn a call-up into France's World Cup squad and attract interest from Spurs' Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Bayern Munich are also interested in the young Frenchman and are lining him up as a replacement Xhedran Shaqiri, who is desperate to leave the Allianz Arena this summer.
