Arturo Vidal has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United by admitting any player would love to play for 'one of the biggest clubs in the world'.
Interest in Vidal from United has gathered pace since his excellent World Cup performances to the point where Vidal was questioned about the rumours by Chilean television.
Far from quashing the rumours, Vidal left the door wide open to a potential United move.
Asked about United by Chile's La Tercera, Vidal said: "I've heard about the rumours, but I haven't spoken more about this subject. "I'm enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I'll see what happens. "I'm very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world."
Vidal's comments weaken Juventus' negotiation position as it clear that, should the right bid come in for the club, Vidal will be happy to make the move.
It's music to the ears of United fans. Vidal could have poured cold water on the rumours by emphatically pledging his future to Juventus but instead chose to let them continue, which is indicative that he is happy to keep his options open.
