DAVID MOYES is set to be snubbed by Galatasary - despite holding talks with the Turkish giants.
MAYBE MOYES: David Moyes has been invited to Galatasary for talks but told he isn't top of the list
Moyes, 51, is looking for work again after being sacked by Manchester United in April.
The ex-Everton man endured a miserable spell at Old Trafford and was binned just 10 months into a six-year deal.
Galatasary are in the market for a new boss after dumping ex-Manchester City chief Roberto Mancini at the end of the season.
Moyes held talks with president Unal Eysal in Istanbul but was almost immediately told he is not at the top of Galatasary's list of candidates.
JUR THE MANN: Jurgen Klinsmann and Joachim Lowe are among the preferred candidates
The Turkish outfit have made it clear that they prefer either Germany chief Joachim Low or USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
A Galatasary spokesman said: "The president has given a speech about it.
"He said that we just spoke with David Moyes and he said that he can come to Galatasaray but he is not one of the main targets for us.
"They just spoke to each other, exchanging ideas - that is it. It is true the president talked with David Moyes.
"We are not in a rush, we are waiting for the end of the World Cup. The first two targets are Low or Klinsmann."
Moyes has turned down a string of jobs since leaving Old Trafford and is keen for a new challenge in Europe.
