Messi family hits out at smear campaign

Catalan newspaper 'Sport' has revealed that the Messi family has reacted angrily to reports implicating the Barca star's father in a drug money laundering scheme, rubbishing the claims and suggesting they are part of an agenda to discredit Messi and those around him.

The initial story published by 'El Mundo' reported that a Colombian drug ring had laundered money through the bulk buying of 'Row 0' tickets for matches on the 'Messi and Friends' tour.
