MESUT OZIL is clearly enjoying himself in London - so much so he's even taking selfies in the capital.

The Arsenal star joined countrymen Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker on the Emirates Air Line, London’s first urban cable car, when he snapped himself hundreds of feet in the air.

Ozil was all smiles as he reflected on life in the big city but opted not to show off his improving English skills.

The German, in his native tongue, said: “They [my team-mates] have helped me.

"It’s good to have people I know here.

“I have settled in really well. I have a house in London and I am enjoying living here."

On London life, Mertesacker said: "I’ve watched tennis at the O2 and the NBA also comes here. It’s really exciting to live here and enjoy the life.

"We haven’t been to a cricket match so far, so that’s one of our targets for next year."

Arsenal are hitting the heights on the pitch and off it. The Gunners are five points clear at the top of the Premier League.
