Khedira: "The club rejected the offer on my behalf"

Khedira:

Sami Khedira has stated that Real Madrid refused to sell him to United, despite being offered around €40 million. "The club rejected the offer, and that's that".

The German midfielder affirmed that "a few weeks ago I had a long talk with Ancelotti and he was quite clear with me, saying that I would be staying at Real".

Regarding Özil's departure, the German international said, "It didn't come as a big surprise to me. Two or three days ago Mesut told me of his plans."
