Neymar proved key at the Calderón. The Brazilian was the second change made by Martino and scored the goal which rescued a draw for his side. After the game he said, "I'm very happy because I helped the team. It was a tough game. Atleti is a great team and has great players."
The former Santos player went on to say, "It was a very exciting game. The second leg is at the Camp Nou and we have to walk away champions."
Neymar opened his official goalscoring account with Barça and was in no doubt about one thing: "I hope it is the first goal of many."
The Brazilian had more to say in the mixed zone: "I don't score many headers, so that makes them important. I normally score with my feet. I'm happy because the ball went in. "It's a shame not being able to play with Messi. He's the best in the world and everyone wants to play with him."
